REIMS Footwear: Our Story

REIMS Footwear is a family-owned company founded in 2020 by R. Sherwin and his partners. Born during the challenges of a global pandemic, our journey was anything but ordinary. While the world faced uncertainty, we pressed forward with a vision and officially became a Limited Liability Company in 2022.  

From the beginning, our mission has been clear: to design and manufacture footwear that supports diverse lifestyles, promotes health and exercise, and bridges the gap between high-end sneakers and affordable options. We set out to create shoes that deliver premium performance and style without the premium price tag.  

The Meaning Behind REIMS

When introducing our brand to the footwear industry, R. Sherwin sought a name that embodied triumph and distinction. REIMS achieves exactly that. Pronounced “Rheims” or “Reemz” in English, and differently in French, the name carries international flair.  

REIMS is also a city in France celebrated for its champagne and vineyards—symbols of elegance and sophistication that inspire our sleek, classy designs. Historically, REIMS is associated with the coronation of kings, which perfectly aligns with our slogan: “Take The Reins.”
